MARINE FORECAST FOR SEAS AROUND CURAÇAO:

Synopsis:
During the next 24 hours an increase in humidity is anticipated in our area
generating significant clouds in our region with the possibility of some showers
on certain parts of our island and surroundings. Due to the unstable atmospheric
condition, the possibility of development of thunder and lightning is not
excluded as well. In addition, wind is expected to be light to moderate in our
region, although this may increase during heavier showers and may cause waves to
become higher.

Weather:
Partly to temporarily mostly cloudy with a chance of a few local showers. The
possibility of thunder and lightning will not be excluded. It will also feel a
little warm during the day.

Visibility:
25 to 40 kilometer. Tempo 3 to 5 kilometer in TSRA/SHRA .

Winds:
Southeasterly and light to moderate; force 2 to 4 (7 to 30 km/h, 4 to 16 knots).
A few occasional gusts to fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).

Seas:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meter (2 and 4 feet).
Higher wave action during showers.

Synopsis.....Hurricane Erin is near 19.5N 59.5W at 11 PM EDT, and
is moving west-northwest at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 85
kt with gusts to 105 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 979
mb. Erin will move to 20.2N 61.6W this morning, 20.9N 64.2W during the
evening, 21.7N 66.3W Sun morning, 22.9N 67.9W Sun evening, 24.0N
68.9W Mon morning, and 25.6N 69.8W Mon evening. Erin will change
little in intensity as it moves near 28.9N 70.5W late Tue. Elsewhere
in the wake of Erin, high pressure will maintain moderate to
mostly fresh easterly winds through early next week along with
slight to moderate seas.
