Synopsis:
A gentle to moderate wind will account for a slight to moderate seas surrounding
the island through the next day or so. Waves could peak to 5 foot over the open
water. A relatively steeper pressure gradient around mid-week will result in a
gradual increasing wind in time.

Partly cloudy sky with a few passing rain showers possible.

Visibility:
20 to 40 kilometer.

Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots).
A few occasional gusts, possibly to fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21
knots).

Seas:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meter (2 and 4 feet).

Synopsis...A strong 1032 mb high pressure system over the western Atlantic
will support fresh to occasionally strong winds in the Gulf of Honduras,
the lee of Cuba, the Windward Passage, and south of Hispaniola through
early next week. Moderate to locally fresh easterly winds will prevail in the
rest of the basin. Northerly swell will bring seas of 8 ft through the passages
in the NE Caribbean early next week. Moderate to locally fresh easterly trade
winds will prevail across the Caribbean during the rest of the week.
