Synopsis:
An on-going slack pressure pattern will continue to result in a light to
moderate breeze over the forecast sea area. Waves could peak to 5 foot over the
northern open water and in passages. Moreover, Saharan dust will limit the
visibility over the local area somewhat. During the early morning, a local
shower is possible over the forecasted area.
Weather:
Partly cloudy, mainly dry and warm with limited visibility due to Saharan dust.
Visibility:
20 to 30 kilometer in slight hazy condition.
Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots).
Occasionally fresh in gusts; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Seas:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meter (2 to 4 feet).

north of Honduras, increasing to fresh to strong speeds nightly
starting tonight through Fri night. Unsettled weather is expected
to continue over the eastern Caribbean well into the week. Winds
will pulse to fresh nightly near the Windward Passage. Gentle to
moderate trades and slight to moderate seas are expected over the
remainder of the basin through Sat, including in the Tropical N
Atlantic. Winds will strengthen off Colombia Fri night through the
upcoming weekend as the pressure gradient tightens. .
