MARINE FORECAST FOR SEAS AROUND CURAÇAO:

Synopsis:
Moderate to fresh winds are foreseen to prevail, meanwhile strong high pressure
persists over the Atlantic
Ocean. Wind driven waves could average around 4 foot over the exposed waters.
There is some potential for development of clouds with some showers in our
region during the morning.
Weather:
Partly to occasionally cloudy with a chance of some local showers during the
early hours of the morning.
Visibility:
25 to 40 kilometers. Tempo 4 to 8 km in possible showers.
Winds:
East to southeast and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16
knots). Occasionally fresh in gusts; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Seas:
Moderate with wave heights between 1 and 1.5 meter (3 and 5 feet). The highest
waves are over the exposed sea area.

Synopsis.....The pressure gradient between the Atlantic ridge and
the Colombian low will continue to support pulsing fresh to
strong trades and rough seas across the south-central Caribbean
through the forecast period. Moderate to fresh winds and moderate
seas are expected in the eastern Caribbean while gentle to moderate
winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail elsewhere, with
the exception of moderate to fresh E winds in the Gulf of Honduras,
mainly at night, through the forecast period.
