Synopsis:
A relatively stable atmosphere will persist over the next 24 hours, supporting
fair and dry conditions with mostly to partly sunny skies on our island. By
tomorrow there will be an increase in cloudiness and showers.
Weather:
Partly cloudy with no significant precipitation.
Visibility:
25 to 35 kilometer. Deteriorates in shower activity.
Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots). A
few occasional gusts to fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Seas:
Moderate over the open waters with wave heights between 1 and 1.5 meters (3 and
5 feet).

Synopsis.....The pressure gradient between the Atlantic high pressure
and the Colombian low will continue to support fresh to strong
winds over the south-central Caribbean today. Fresh to
locally strong northeast winds and moderate to rough seas in the
Windward Passage are expected to continue through the forecast
period. A large tropical wave, currently located along 53W, is
forecast to move into the Tropical N Atlantic today and moving just south of
Puerto Rico on Thu morning. Shower and thunderstorm activity ahead
of the wave axis are already reaching the Lesser Antilles. Fresh
to strong easterly winds and moderate to rough seas are also
expected in association with the passage of the wave.
