MARINE FORECAST FOR SEAS AROUND CURAÇAO:

Synopsis:
A tropical disturbance associated with the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ)
is currently influencing the region over the next 24 hours. This will
occasionally bring additional cloud cover to Curaçao, which could lead to a few
isolated showers. By tomorrow night, the chances for an isolated thunderstorm
will increase.
Weather:
Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of an isolated shower.
Visibility:
25 to 35 kilometer.
Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots).
Occasionally fresh in gusts; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Seas:
Moderate with waves between 0.5 and 1.0 meter (2 and 4 feet).

Synopsis.....High pressure north of basin combined with the
Colombian low will support fresh to strong winds and moderate to
rough seas over the waters just offshore Venezuela and Colombia
through Sat, then mainly moderate to fresh winds and moderate
seas are expected afterward. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate winds
and slight to moderate seas are forecast through early next
week. Trades may increase to fresh to strong speeds over the
central and eastern portions of the basin early next week as a
tropical wave-like moves across the region. In the Gulf of
Honduras, pulsing winds of fresh speeds with moderate seas are
expected Sat night through Mon night.
