Synopsis:
An area of high pressure will cause a large pressure difference
in our region. As a result, winds will be quite strong and sea conditions will
be locally moderate to fairly rough. During great part of today, not much
significant cloud formation is anticipated over our region and for this reason
the possibility of a shower on our island remains limited. Also, fine dust from
the Sahara is expected to continue to reduce visibility slightly over the coming
days.
Sea conditions:
Moderate to quite rough with wave heights of 1.5 to 2.5 meters
(4 to 8 feet). The highest wave action will be over the northern and eastern
exposed sea area.
Significant tropical weather systems:
None.
Special features:
None.
Outlook until Thursday morning:
Partly cloudy with no significant shower
expected.
Forecaster:
Vrutaal.
The next weather forecast will be issued on Tuesday 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).
