Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Sunday evening 18:00 l.t., May 25, 2025.

Issued:
Saturday May 24, 2025, 17:50 l.t. (21:50 UTC).

Weather:
Clear to partly cloudy sky with a prevailing breezy and dry condition. Tomorrow mainly around noon, increasing clouds at times with a passing shower locally. Forecast high will be 32 ºC, and the low will be 27 ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:10 and sunset at 18:55.

Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasionally strong in gusts; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
The Atlantic high will continue to cause breezy condition over the area and as a result promotes an above normal wave action, mostly over the exposed sea area through the next several days. Furthermore, some clouds spreading east over the southeastern portion of the Caribbean could bring a brief shower or two over the area of our island during the weekend. Thereafter by the beginning of next week however, clouds and shower activity will increase as a tropical wave traverses the area.

Sea conditions:
Moderate to locally fairly rough with wave heights of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 7 feet). The highest wave action will be over the exposed sea area.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Monday evening:
From the night onwards, cloud cover and chance of showers will increase.

Forecaster:
Coffie

The next weather forecast will be issued on Sunday 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
