Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Possibly, occasionally strong in gusts; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
A weak tropical wave will traverse the region over the eastern Caribbean Sea today, but no significant weather is foreseen over the area of our island. Besides, the Atlantic high will support a moderate easterly wind over and around the island during the next few days.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with wave heights between 1 and 1.5 meters (3 and 5 feet). The highest waves continue over the open sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
A weak disturbance coupled with an area of low pressure over the southwestern portion of the North Atlantic could become a tropical cyclone during the upcoming weekend. The future cyclone will not pose a threat to Curaçao.
