Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Thursday evening 18:00 l.t., May 22, 2025.

Issued:
Wednesday May 21, 2025, 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).

Weather:
Generally partly cloudy with a slight chance of a local shower during tomorrow morning. Visibility will also continue to be reduced by the presence of fine Saharan dust. Forecast high will be 32 ºC, and the low will be 27 ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:10 and sunset at 18:54.

Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots). Mainly during the day, occasional higher gusts to fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).

Synopsis:
For the rest of the day, not much development of significant clouds is anticipated on our island and for this reason the possibility of rain remains limited. However, an increase in clouds may lead to a local shower during the early morning hours. Furthermore, it is expected that a high pressure difference in our region will provide for a generally fairly strong wind flow on our island during the coming days and this may result in a locally slightly rough sea condition.

Sea conditions:
Slight to moderate with wave heights of 0.5 to 1.5 meters (2 to 5 feet).

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Friday evening:
Partly cloudy and generally dry with a gradually stronger wind.

Forecaster:
Vrutaal.

The next weather forecast will be issued on Thursday 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
