Boletin semanal 20 Nov te ku 26 Nov 2023
Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Wednesday morning
06:00 l.t., July 2, 2025.
Issued:
Tuesday July 1, 2025, 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
Weather:
025, 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
CODE YELLOW: A CAUTIONARY STATEMENT FOR ROUGH SEAS IS IN EFFECT.
Weather: Light to partly cloudy with no significant precipitation. Winds will
continue to be breezy with reduced visibility.
Forecast high will be 31ºC, and the low will be 27ºC.
Sunrise will occur at 06:15 and sunset at 19:04.
Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21
knots). Higher gusts, occasionally strong to near gale force; force 6 to 7 (40
to 61 km/h, 22 to 33 knots).
Synopsis:
Although the atmospheric condition remains favorable for some clouds
to continue moving in our area due to a tropical wave moving westward, the
possibility of precipitations remains limited on our island during today.
Furthermore, a high pressure difference in our region will maintain a wind with
moderate to fairly strong strength in our area and a locally fairly rough sea
condition. Also, fine dust from the Sahara will reduce visibility and air
quality in our area in the coming days. People who are very sensitive,
especially those with allergies or respiratory problems, should take the
necessary precautions.
Sea conditions:
Moderate to quite rough with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5
meters (4 and 8 feet). The highest waves are mainly located to the north and
east of the island. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution, and swimmers
should stay close to shore. A cautionary statement (Code Yellow) is therefore in
effect.
Significant tropical weather systems:
None.
Special features:
None.
Outlook until Thursday morning:
Partly cloudy with strong winds, mostly dry and
reduced visibility.
Forecaster:
Vrutaal.
The next weather forecast will be issued on Tuesday 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).
