Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Wednesday midday 12:00 l.t., June 25, 2025.

Issued:
Tuesday June 24, 2025, 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly to mostly cloudy, with occasional showers and a slight chance of a thunderstorm. Forecast high will be 31ºC, and the low will be 27ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:13 and sunset at 19:03.

Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasionally strong to possibly near gale in gusts; force 6 to 7 (40 to 61 km/h, 22 to 33 knots).

Synopsis:
Slight instability, along with available moisture, will support cloud development across our region. This will increase the likelihood of a few light, occasional showers over our island today; however, a slight chance of a thunderstorm cannot be excluded. By tomorrow morning, an influx of cloud patches from the east may lead to a few local showers. Additionally, a plume of Saharan dust is expected to reach the ABC Islands by tomorrow. The strong pressure gradient will result in moderate to occasionally near-gale force winds.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with wave heights of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 7 feet). The highest wave action is in general over the northern and eastern open sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Thursday midday:
Partly to variably cloudy with a few early morning showers. Some haze and breezy conditions are expected.

Forecaster:
Kasmani.

The next weather forecast will be issued on Tuesday 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).
