Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Thursday morning 6:00 l.t., June 19, 2025.

Issued:
Wednesday June 18, 2025, 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly cloudy with a brief isolated morning shower possible. Overall dry and somewhat breezy with sunny periods in the afternoon. Tonight and into tomorrow morning, partly cloudy in general with relatively more significant rain activity. Forecast high will be 32ºC, and the low will be 27ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:12 and sunset at 19:02.

Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasionally strong in gusts; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
Generally stable conditions are likely to persist across the region and will maintain a low chance of rain activity over the area of our island through the early part of tonight. An increase in low level moisture, related to a weak tropical wave over the eastern Caribbean Sea this morning, is expected to heighten the rain chances from the overnight on Thursday. The Atlantic high-pressure system will continue to promote moderate to occasionally strong easterly winds during the next day or so.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with wave heights between 1 and 2 meter (3 and 7 feet). The highest waves are located over the northern and eastern open sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Friday morning:
Partly cloudy sky with a brief overnight shower and it will be windier in the following couple of days.

Forecaster:
Coffie

The next weather forecast will be issued on Wednesday 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).
