Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Monday midday 12:00 l.t., June 9, 2025.

Issued:
Sunday June 8, 2025, 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly cloudy sky and sunny periods in the afternoon. Remainder of today and tonight, becoming windier with an overall dry condition. Forecast high will be 32ºC, and the low will be 27ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:10 and sunset at 19:00.

Winds:
Easterly and gentle to fresh; force 3 to 5 (12 to 39 km/h, 7 to 21 knots). Higher gusts to strong; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
The Atlantic high will continue to generate today a moderate wind in general across our region, while wind speeds are expected to increase by tonight and into tomorrow. The seas around the island will respond to this and deteriorate with time, becoming locally rough. Otherwise, dry airmass along with a layer of Saharan dust in the atmosphere, presently over the eastern Caribbean, are foreseen to restrict shower activity over the area of our island during the next day or so.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with wave heights of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 7 feet). The highest wave action is in general over the northern exposed sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Tuesday midday:
Clear to partly cloudy, hazy and still breezy.

Forecaster:
Coffie

The next weather forecast will be issued on Sunday 17:50 l.t. (21:50 UTC).
