Synopsis:
A high pressure difference in our region will continue to provide a
generally fairly strong wind on our island mainly during the day. This results
in a sea that continues locally quite rough over the next few days. During the
rest of today and also tomorrow a relatively dry air flow will pass over our
region limiting development of significant clouds. This will provide for a dry
weather condition over most parts of our island. Also, fine dust from the Sahara
is expected to reduce visibility during the next days.
Sea conditions:
Moderate to quite rough with wave heights of 1.5 to 2.5 meters
(4 to 8 feet). The highest wave action will be over the northern and eastern
exposed sea area.
Significant tropical weather systems:
None.
Special features:
None.
Outlook until Wednesday evening:
Partly cloudy with a chance of a local shower.
Fairly strong winds and reduced visibility.
Forecaster:
Vrutaal.
The next weather forecast will be issued on Tuesday 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
