Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasionally strong, reaching near gale force at times; force 6 to 7 (40 to 61 km/h, 22 to 33 knots).

Synopsis:
During the rest of today and also tomorrow patches of clouds will pass over our region but the possibility of precipitation on our island remains limited by a relatively stable weather condition. Furthermore, a high pressure difference in our region will continue to maintain the wind flow with a moderate to fairly strong force in our area and this brings with it a locally fairly rough sea condition. Also, fine dust from the Sahara will reduce visibility and air quality in our area in the coming days. People who are very sensitive, especially those with allergies or respiratory problems, should take the necessary precautions.

Sea conditions:
Moderate to quite rough with wave heights between 1.5 and 2.5 meters (4 and 8 feet). The highest waves are mainly located to the north and east of the island. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution, and swimmers should stay close to shore. A cautionary statement (Code Yellow) is therefore in effect.
