Synopsis:
An area of humidity due to a tropical wave in the Caribbean area
moving westward will maintain favorable atmospheric conditions for significant
clouds with a chance of some local showers on our island and surroundings during
the morning hours. Furthermore, wind flow will maintain a moderate to fairly
strong force that may cause locally rough sea conditions. Furthermore, fine dust
from the Sahara continues to maintain reduced visibility in our area over the
next few days.
Sea conditions:
Moderate to locally quite rough with wave heights of 1.5 to 2.5
meter (4 to 8 feet). The highest waves are mainly located to the north and east
of the island. For this reason, a cautionary message for rough seas (Code
Yellow) is still in effect and swimmers and sailors are advised to exercise
caution when navigating in these conditions.
