Boletin semanal 20 Nov te ku 26 Nov 2023
Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Sunday morning 6:00
l.t., June 15, 2025.
Issued:
Saturday June 14, 2025, 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
Weather:
, 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
CODE YELLOW: A CAUTIONARY STATEMENT FOR ROUGH SEAS IS IN EFFECT.
Weather: Partly cloudy and becoming somewhat breezy at times under a hazy sky. A
chance exists of a brief isolated shower.
Forecast high will be 31ºC, and the low will be 26ºC.
Sunrise will occur at 06:11 and sunset at 19:01.
Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21
knots). Higher gusts occasionally strong to sometimes near gale; force 6 to 7
(40 to 61 km/h, 22 to 33 knots).
Synopsis:
A prevailing moderate to fresh wind flow over our region will also
continue to promote locally fairly rough seas. Available moisture within this
trade wind could still aid in the development of a passing shower over the area
of the island during today. Over the remainder of the weekend however, a
relatively more settled atmospheric condition is expected to restrict any event
with significant weather.
Sea conditions:
Moderate to locally quite rough with wave heights of 1.5 to 2.5
meter (4 to 8 feet). The highest waves are mainly located over the northern and
eastern sea area. It is advised that mariners exercise caution when navigating
in these zones. Therefore, a cautionary statement for rough seas (code yellow)
is in effect.
Significant tropical weather systems:
None.
Special features:
None.
Outlook until Monday morning:
Partly cloudy in general with a chance of a light
shower locally.
Forecaster:

The next weather forecast will be issued on Saturday 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).
