Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Friday midday 12:00 l.t., June 20, 2025.

Issued:
Thursday June 19, 2025, 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly to occasionally cloudy with locally to sometimes widespread showers and thunderstorms. Forecast high will be 30ºC, and the low will be 26ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:12 and sunset at 19:02.

Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots). Occasionally strong in gusts; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
A westward moving Tropical wave located east of the ABC islands is enhancing significant cloud development within the region. As a result, the unstable conditions are favorable for local to occasionally widespread showers, which may be accompanied by thunderstorm activity. Later in the afternoon, the showers are expected to gradually dissipate, leading to generally cloudy conditions. By early tomorrow morning, an increase in moisture will likely result in some local showers on our island.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with wave heights between 1 and 2 meter (3 and 7 feet). The highest waves are located over the northern and eastern open sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Saturday midday:
Partly to occasionally cloudy with periods of local showers.

Forecaster:
Kasmani.

The next weather forecast will be issued on Thursday 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).
