Tonight and tomorrow will become temporary cloudy with an increasing chance of shower activity, occasionally along with a thunderstorm. Forecast high will be 33ºC, and the low will be 26ºC. Winds:
Easterly to southeasterly and light to moderate; force 2 to 4 (7 to 30 km/h, 4 to 16 knots). Mainly in and around heavier showers, occasional gusts fresh to strong; force 5 to 6 (31 to 50 km/h, 17 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
Over the next 24 hours weather conditions will be in favor for temporary increasing cloud cover with showers over our region. Winds will generally be light and at times blow from several directions. The combination of light wind and warm, humid air will create an extra warm feeling during the day. Furthermore, the local sea state is presently mostly calm but could become somewhat rough in heavier showers.

Sea conditions:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meter (2 and 5 feet). The highest wave action is expected in showers.

Significant tropical weather systems:
The center of hurricane Erin was located this late morning just a little under 200 kilometer north of the islands in the northeastern Caribbean. Erin will continue moving west-northwest, while expected to strengthen further. Hurricane Erin poses no threat to Curaçao.
