Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Wednesday midday 12:00 l.t., August 6, 2025.

Issued:
Tuesday August 5, 2025, 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly cloudy skies with moderate easterly winds and a few isolated showers possible. Forecast high will be 32ºC, and the low will be 27ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:23 and sunset at 19:00.

Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots). Occasionally fresh to possibly strong in gusts; force 5 to 6 (31 to 50 km/h, 17 to 27 knots).

Synopsis:
Throughout the day, partly cloudy conditions will dominate over the island. Moisture linked to the ITCZ and a mid-level ridge over the eastern Caribbean may favour the development of localised cloud formations, occasionally producing light showers. The presence of a high-pressure ridge extending from the Atlantic will enhance the pressure gradient, generating sustained easterly winds. As night falls, increasing humidity will support further cloud build-up, with a few isolated showers expected in some areas.

Sea conditions:
Moderate with waves between 1 and 1.5 meter (3 and 5 feet). The highest waves will continue over the open sea area.

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Thursday midday:
Partly cloudy skies with a few morning showers expected. Winds are expected to gradually ease.

Forecaster:
Kasmani.

The next weather forecast will be issued on Tuesday 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).
