Fair sky along an overall dry conditions expected.

knots). Occasional gusts to fresh; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Synopsis:
A slightly dry air covers our region this afternoon and the weather is
expected to remain dry tonight. Later in the course of the morning hours,
moisture entry will improve atmospheric conditions for cloud formation in our
region. A weak tropical wave located east of the ABC Islands is currently
influencing the regional weather pattern. Despite this, not much significant
rainfall activity is expected during much of the day on our island. The wind
regime will decrease over the next 24 hours and become calm this weekend.
Sea conditions:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0.5 and 1.5 meter
(2 and 5 feet).
Significant tropical weather systems:
Tropical Storm Erin, currently situated
east of the northern Leeward Islands, is moving west-northwest and is forecast
to intensify into a hurricane by Friday. Environmental conditions suggest
further strengthening into a major hurricane by Sunday. According to current
projections, Erin poses no threat to Curaçao.

Outlook until Saturday evening:
Partly cloudy with a slight risk of isolated
showers during the morning. A risk for thunderstorms will be present during the
late evening.
