Forecast

Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Friday midday 12:00 l.t., August 8, 2025.

Issued:
Thursday August 7, 2025, 11:00 l.t. (15:00 UTC).

Weather:
Partly to mostly cloudy skies, with predominantly dry conditions expected throughout the day. By tomorrow morning, a few brief, localized showers may develop. Forecast high will be 33ºC, and the low will be 27ºC. Sunrise will occur at 06:24 and sunset at 18:59.

Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16 knots). Occasional fresh in gusts; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).

Synopsis:
A tropical disturbance linked to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is currently influencing the region. Although some cloud development is expected today, the atmospheric conditions remain insufficient to support rainfall leading to predominantly dry weather. By tomorrow morning, a surge of moisture carried by the trade winds will favour the development of brief, localized showers across our island. The pressure tendency continues to decrease, contributing to a gradual weakening of the prevailing winds.

Sea conditions:
Slight to occasionally moderate with waves between 0.5 and 1 meter (2 and 4 feet).

Significant tropical weather systems:
None.

Special features:
None.

Outlook until Saturday midday:
Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms possible.

Forecaster:
Kasmani.

The next weather forecast will be issued on Thursday 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).
