MARINE FORECAST FOR SEAS AROUND CURAĆAO:

Synopsis:
The Atlantic high sustains a moderate to occasionally strong trades and as a
result promote a moderate to locally a somewhat rough sea state. Waves could
peak to about 8 foot over the exposed water. Winds and seas are foreseen to
subside gradually by the end of forecast period.
Weather:
Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with a few isolated showers and possible
thunderstorm.
Visibility:
25 to 35 kilometer. Deteriorates in shower activity.
Winds:
Easterly and moderate to fresh; force 4 to 5 (20 to 39 km/h, 11 to 21 knots).
Higher gust to strong; force 6 (40 to 50 km/h, 22 to 27 knots).
Seas:
Moderate and generally a bit rough over the open waters with wave heights
between 1 and 2 meters (3 and 7 feet).

Synopsis.....he pressure gradient between high pressure locate N
of area and the Colombian low will support fresh to strong winds
over the south-central Caribbean through early next week. Fresh
to locally strong northeast winds and moderate to rough seas will
prevail in the Windward Passage through tonight. At the same
time, expect fresh E winds in the Gulf of Honduras. Winds will
diminish slightly Sun and into next week as western Atlantic high
pressure weakens.
