Boletin semanal 20 Nov te ku 26 Nov 2023
Weather Forecast for Curaçao and surroundings valid until Saturday evening
18:00 l.t., August 23, 2025.
Issued:
Friday August 22, 2025 17:00 l.t. (21:00 UTC).
Weather:
Partly cloudy with a brief passing shower possible.
Forecast high will be 33ºC, and the low will be 28ºC.
Sunrise will occur at 06:25 and sunset at 18:52.
Winds:
Easterly and gentle to moderate; force 3 to 4 (12 to 30 km/h, 7 to 16
knots). Occasionally fresh in gusts; force 5 (31 to 39 km/h, 17 to 21 knots).
Synopsis:
A tropical wave situated east of the ABC islands continues to
influence local atmospheric conditions. The presence of additional moisture may
contribute to localized instability, favoring the development of vertical cloud
formations. These clouds could produce isolated showers; however, predominantly
dry weather is expected to prevail across the region. Winds are forecast to
gradually ease from today into tomorrow, resulting in slightly warmer and more
humid conditions. Overall, expect a mix of sun and clouds with brief
interruptions due to passing showers.
Sea conditions:
Slight to moderate with wave heights between 0,5 and 1.5 meter
(2 and 5 feet).
Significant tropical weather systems:
A tropical disturbance (AL90) northeast of
the northern Leeward Islands is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Environmental conditions favor further development, and a
tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend as it moves
northwestward. A second system, AL99, trailing behind AL90, also shows potential
for short-term development. Neither system currently poses a threat to Curaçao.
Special features:
None.
Outlook until Sunday evening:
Partly cloudy with increasing winds.
Forecaster:
Abraham.
The next weather forecast will be issued on Saturday 05:00 l.t. (09:00 UTC).
